The current White House budget proposal calls for a flat NIH budget in 2013. Moreover, the number of postdocs supported by NIH-training grants is slated for a 2% decrease. Research is already heavily under duress, with NIH funding rates at a record low. Please click the web-link below to sign the White House petition to increase NIH funding in 2013! This petition provides a unique opportunity to gain the attention of our governmental leaders. If the petition receives 25,000 signatures by March 18th, the White House will review it.
